When I get a spare moment, I'm planning to 'write' a guide. I say 'write' because it'll obviously be based on everyone's collective experience, & will hopefully include contributions/corrections from anyone who's got anything to add!
I just think it'd be nice to have everything in one place - saves the little things from becoming problems... like my missing wires for example!

make sure your AFM sensor is plugged in right:

this is the good long blast we took it for after plugged the AFM in. in car footage for about 3 mins of open road - ish:

3.64 (hideous open wrongness) at the mo... My 3.91 LSD had to come out so I just chucked that in, figuring it'll do for now & be a good way to work out what'll suit in the long term. Obviously I'll be getting another LSD in the very near future!

Quite a lot! But I'm not after economy - I've got the veg-burning diesel for the daily grind... The E30's just for weekends now, but that does include a fair few motorway blasts at the moment!

3.64 is the way forward
me and Gall have this ratio for our big 6's and it sweet (from my short amount of time in Gall's m30)
guess you can get a longer ratio if you can get hold of one.
if you can get it ready for the weekend that would be sweet!

Well it really is just the exhaust to sort & they've got all day Fri... I want to get the proper airbox on it though too, but I need a visit to the scrappies on Fri for a smaller washer bottle first. Apart from that, it's all done really!
Need to take it for a li'l drive again tonight - only had it running on the drive yesterday... Should have time to drive around a bit on Sat once the exhaust is done, & see if I fancy risking the blat up the motorway
I was going to just get the same exhaust as I had on my M20 - straight pipes from the downpipes to the supersprint rear box. But now I'm tempted to go for a complete new system - I really want either slash cut or hartge style tailpipes!
But the supersprint is an excellent bit of kit... decisions, decisions.

At the mo, it's got my m20 ITG on it. Too small, but despite that & the shocking exhaust, it still goes alright!

Glad it's sorted though dude. They go ok, don't they!
Been up a steep hill in fifth gear yet? Amuses me every time!

where does 1 inch pipe that branches off the very top hose that goes from the stat housing to the rad go top or bottom heater stub.

ahaa, now there's one thing that every 335i owner gets wrong first!!!
i can't remember which one!!!
err, when it's backwards, the heater doesn't work properly and it makes a funny ticking noise under the dash so then you'll know!!

ive just read your thread and a few others mate. it seems the top 1" hose off the radiator to stat pipe one goes to the bottom and the 1" teed off pipe goes to the the top of the matrix.
