Hi all,
Just been informed that a new track day company specialising in track days for only German cars has been formed, and their next day will be at Snetterton on the 25th of February and the format will be open pit, so plenty of track time
I'm going to be there with my rusty E30 M3, along with Total BMW magazine, which will be doing a big feature of the day with professional pics
If you're interested, and you want to find out more or book up, go to www.germantrack.com
A few details:
- The cost for the day is £149.00 for a Car and Driver
- You may have a extra driver sharing your car and track time for £50.00.
Passengers in your vehicle are £10.00 each.
- Helmets are avialble to hire from MSV on the day (c£10 + deposit).
- Garaging is free and on a "first come first served basis."
- Additionally, circuit tuition will also be avialable FREE OF CHARGE on a "first come first served basis" from Radical racer, Helen Ray (www.helenray.co.uk) and Historic Porsche Rally Champion, Steve Smith.
- Please note the Db limit at the circuit is 105Db measured statically at 75% full throttle.
Ps, I'm in no way affiliated with the company - just passing on some info. Mods, feel free to move if inappropriate.
Cheers,
Nick

i guess it's because it's an open pit day. sessioned days second drivers are often free, because your car will only be out in one session per hour it doesnt matter which driver is driving. open pit means no limit on tracktime at all (as long as your car is up to it).
sounds expensive at first, but not so bad when you think about it.
not a fan of charging for passenger rides though
