Odd question I know but I need the chassis number/vin of an e36 which as standard has the early M52 2.8L engine and not the TU version.
I'm basically seeing if I can source a 2.8 crank for a 2.8 M20 build from the stealership, but they can't do a part query withought a VIN.
Maybe someone hose done the conversion on an e30 knows the VIN of their donor vehicle?
E36 owners vin request.
