style 5s are going to need a 5 stud conversion anyway, so you may aswell uprate other things at the same time.

17's didn't 'wreck' the handling on mine, and tbh i doubt a good 17in wheel with a low profile tyre weighs all that much more than a standard setup, ans rolling radius is pretty similar. i'd guess it might have a lot more of an effect putting a cheap heavy 17 on an otherwise standard narrow body e30.

for a normal e0 i'd stick to 16in RSs, 17s on an m3 :D
cheers,

harry

From your list everything is very nice except for no.9 and more less 4, but personally I'd go for something from OZ Racing range-superturismo's for 17"+ and Oz F1's for 15" and 16".
Alpinas are also very cool.

I have 2 E30's with Hartge's fitted, and I have a friend from Cardiff who has a black E30 M3 with 16" Hartge's.

Could you reduce the size of your sig please as it's huge!

Might sound an odd question, but is that a photo? There's something about it which looks CGI-ish?

probably because the reflection in the paitwork is of the great outdoors, yet the car is sat on a plain grey background. if it is real it looks like it's had a fair amount of post production 'cleaning'

Haha and i thought people on the zone were educated people.

I really don't see how you can compare a set of work equips to a set of ford wheels(rs????)

A nice set of work equips will piss all over any bbs/ac wheel then you have to offer. Specially in a nice 11.5j variety.

Also work equips arent made in 4x108 so how you can say they belong on a ford baffles me.

woah there, personal opinion and all that. imo a set of 11.5in wide BBS RSs will **** all over any set of work equips because i simply don't like them. i've seen them look ok on golfs and some oldschool jap stuff, but you must be able to see there are similarities between them and the old ford rs 4 spokes

how exactly does a wheel **** all over another type of wheel?
cheers,

harry

A slight simalarity yes, not really anything that close to looking like eachother. Maybe you'd all like the work's if we stuck a bbs sticker on it. That'd do the trick

Aye it's CGI - he does a lot, maybe he could do some E30s!
www.dmmultimedia.com is his site.

Calm down I wasn't being accurate. Just implying the 4 spoke look in particular is a little more suited to a Mk 1 RS 'scort than an E30 imho.
Being anal-retentive may work for most people, but I'm okay to not care unless it was going to affect a car that actually existed in my ownership, as opposed to a CGI Escort...
