I went to the Colerne trackday and was limited to the pit lane for photos. Lucky I had an 80-200 2.8, but it still wasnt good enough. 1 high speed corner past the pit entrance was a tad lame!

Yep a very good deal :D Toyo sponsor the series I've entered so the tyre's are really well discounted. I'm running 195/50/15's. My old Kumho 205's are nearly identical in size but the 195's sit better on the rims and have a slightly smaller radius so should help the gearing a touch. Still got to run poxy spacers though :x Does any one do a six mill hubcentric spacer?

Can't get tyres as the series has that locked down. You have to give your race number when you order so they can keep tabs on quantity. I dare say that the racers on here will have part worn's for sale though. Worth keeping a look out for.

The 205's I have will foul the coil over collar with the BBS wheels I've got (ET24) With the Compomotives there fine. Spacers are no big deal as long as you REMEMBER to put them on when you change over
On a road car thats ok but when your changing them over a lot I imagine that may be forgotten........ I haven't done it yet but I know what a tw4t I can be sometimes :)

The 195's are a damn site cheaper as that's what the Proddy BMW boy's use.

Sorry I cant do that for you - but if you contact Circuit days, speak to Chris and get your name down he might be able to help you out. It's also worth noting that if you're local it would be worth turning up anyway. There is usually a deal to be done as someone wont turn up, or will have mecahnical failure, or will be sent home early for noise issues

101db static and a drive by which I cannot remember but it's on the Bedford site. Basically if your car is close to the 101db static there is a reasonable chance you will trigger the drive by meter. I am led to believe that bedford are not swaying on this limit. Trigger the drive by and you will be black flagged and on your way home. This is not due to Circuit days or Bedford but the local council.

Make sure your car is running at a reasonable level and you will be fine.

"Bedford Autodrome

There are two noise tests. First your car will be subjected to a static test, in which the noise level is measured 50cm away from your exhaust pipe with the engine at 75% of maximum rpm. The reading must not exceed 101 dB(A).

Secondly, and more significantly, you car must comply with our drive-by noise limits. The noise emission from your car must not exceed 87 dB(A) measured 20 metres from your car, which shall be accelerating maximally at over 60mph.

All standard road production cars should get through these limits with ease."

1. Would you like to be involved in any pictures we have taken on track on or around lunchtime? I have part way negotiated with Circuit days that we be given a short time slot to get all the Northloop cars on track and get a few pics. THIS WILL NOT BE A PROFFESIONAL SHOOT. I will do my best to organise it when we get there, I may even ask the pro photographer to take a couple but it will be very much done on the hoof.
Do you want to be involved? If so I need your name on this list and your car must have a Northloop sticker on it.

3. Leavingeasy
