im after a good wax to use on my car as curently iv been using colour magic, but have recently started using tyrtlewax high gloss but i want something a little better really so any ideas lads??

just a nice deep gloss look really and good paint protection mate

chemical guys wax or sealants are good there 5050 is great and not pricey, no fuss and easy to use with good results

you need to invest in some zaino but bare in mind, for me to get mine to the level in my pic it took 2 FULL days of working on it, 9-5 each day, and was also was using my porter cable to eliminate all the swirl marks in the paint.

spending time on the paint is not a problem but i really want a decent product for the look im after

Zaino will last for 4-6 months depending on alot of variables, i would say that when i did my car (i.e in my sig) it was the only time i have got a very decent result with Zaino as people say its bonded correctly, another person to speak to is D6DPH for his views on products as he shares views on others products to what i have tested.

budget is not an issue anymore, anyway im after the same kind of overall finish as you have on your car mate, time is neither a issue as i have plenty of it in the day now

Well depending on what you have already you can delete from the list as applicable:

Decent shampoo (C/G citrus wash and gloss is a nice one)
Clay (Sonus green)
Clay lube (meguiars quik detailer or last touch)
Polish (Meguiars hand polish is easy to break down)


Finishing stages are pretty much colour dependant.

the car is schwartz black, i usually wash it every weekend if i can

Ooh, any wax will give you a good result on black tbh.

For durability, Meguars #16 mirror glaze, or Collinite 915.
