looks like baur at the back do you think he welded up the back bit and then made a new targa section to fit????
looks like it to me that back pillar just looks baur

Its a baur. But how did they manage to do the roof?It must be the rear of a tin top grafted on but id like to know the ins and outs of what was involved.I think it gives a nice individual look.Not my ideal choice of wheels an i think a better body kit.But i love it.If only i could find a genuine baur hard top could have the choice.Colour cool too.

i agree about the wheels
and like it with the roof on nut think it might look wrong once the tops off??? interesting project tho?? food for thort had a home made cabrio 325 once professionaly done but just never looked right with roof down and storing hood was shit could never get the cover to sit right but this wouldnt have those probs wish it had roof off
can anyone take it off with photoshop????Daz

You had a home made cab?

Got any pics,or do you mean a baur. They was a Ԛ£4000 option from the dealers.Now sadly they seem to be the lowest of the low.Dont know why though.

The front is a early e30 front splitter,i just sold one.The sides are usually found on SE's.The rear is a mtec 1.Please correct me if im wrong!!!

sadly no pics sorry they got lost when moved home
had all the bracing work done and looked well sweet prob still out theyre some where never had it on road legally as it was a project car for me but had it on motorway few times in middle of night asked a few people and they valued it at four grand with no tax/test and fooked to death leathers was a special order or somet??? 1984 model with irish plate Daz

Shame about the pics.Was it a full drop head or a baur type?
I wish i still had photos of some of my early bangers happy memories dude.Its funny when i think of old cars i had i always relate them to some girl i was with at the time.Dam thank god that avenger had vynal(eh) seats.LOL

i saw this thing a few years back(donington 2002), then at gaydon last year. aparently it has an escort rear windscreen.
i think the owner resides in nottingham. as i saw it on the road when i visited there around 7 months back.

full cabri mate to the untrained eye you would never know
was told bmw did it as a special order but no proof so took as wrong but it was very well done just a bit battered when i got her had some fun tho tunnels in leeds full belt in 3rd with stainless and twin dtm it fookin roared mate

as fcuk
had very fat mtec style bumpers but fatter than mtec and skirts wider would have been gr8 car just couldnt afford to sort it out
