Thinking of getting new alloys for my sport, Wanted alpina's but there so common, every E30, E36 got them (not every one I know, but alot)

Do very much like them tho, but want to be a little different without spoiling the look of the car

My vote is number 8, can't beat an e30 with a dish. The centre can even be colour coded to the car to add a more personal touch.

What's the difference between 1,4,5, and 10 apart from colour and badge? None at all? I'd go with 4, but with dark grey spokes personally...

Just relooked at them - yeah no. 4 are different aren't they? I wonder what they are - really like them. Guessing they're 16s, so bigger brakes could go under them? Will have to save that photo and look for some.

Number 4 are bbs RM's - google is my friend.

The others are RS's and these are the best wheels IMO, while everyone isn't runnng with them at least.

LMAO at this thread - so much wrong information it's hilarious. :D

In all honesty what makes people type something if they aren't sure they're not typing utter nonsense?

If you know better why not let us know? I checked google, I didn't know myself and it could be wrong, but you haven't said why. And I'm happy to be proved wrong.

Though I have a set of 3 piece BBS and they are loverly!! :D

Because this kind of rubbish gets posted every day and if people can't be bothered to either use the search function, clean their specs so they can see better or search google better then I can't be arsed to be honest. :D

You say you have a set of 3 piece BBS - so I'm guessing you mean RS, yet you've displayed you don't know the difference between RS. RM, RC etc... are you sure you have some RS and you didn't buy some Burger Kings with screws glued to the rim?

The only RMS are 1 & 8.

No 4 are RCs - moe commonly known as Style 5s. They're 17", 5x120 PCD and available in 8j and 9j.

Your right I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure the screws arn't glued on.

Thanks for all YOUR HELP on setting me right tho! I can see what you mean about 10, really will have to find a cloth to clean my specs with. But I don't wear any, and in defence I didn't study the picture as close as I should have.

BBS RS are the best.

never really liked Rms purely because the RS is the real deal, and the RM is close, but not as good.

given a free choice i'd have a set of 17in RSs with radinoz dishes, stainless bolts and letallic black centres with polished centre nut.

in the real world i went for no4, 17 x 8 and 9 in, polished rims, stainless bolts and metallic black centres. different enough from the RS that it doesnt like you're trying to pretend they're something theyre not, and awesome in their own way 8)
cheers,

harry

So I'm guessing the style 5s would wreck the handling being 17s without alterations to the suspension etc and it would be best to stick with 16" RS's then?
