which gearbox works with the m3 engine

any info just got offered engine loom ecu etc need to know if ill have to get the box aswell of m50 2.5 box work

Are we talking the 6 pot M3 engines here?

If so: the 5 speed from the M3 Evo E36 will fit, as will the 5 speed from the 328i sport, the 3.0litre M3 and the Mroadster/Coupé's.

As for the 2.5 gearbox, it's definately different but I can't tell you if it'll fit.. Someone will be able to though dude. Hope this helps some.

It probably will, with the M50 flywheel and clutch but dont quote me....
