I am looking for a good suspension setup for my rally car, i cannot afford coilovers so i am looking for the best normal setup i can find, what do you guys think of the b12 kit? will it be good for racing?

It will be too soft (both springs and shocks settings).

The new B12 kits are not soft in the least. These replace the old sprintline kits which came with cack venturi springs which were indeed too soft. They now come with Eibach springs.
A better option is some Eibach springs and Biltein B8's or a H&R cup kit (it does actually lower 60/40 on cabs)

M5pilot, do you ever drive the rally car in the rally or racing car in the race? Everything "fast road" is too soft for competition use by far.
Trise30rally, you need a setup dedicated for competition. First you need pinpoint for what you need it: rallys (tarmac or gravel), circut races, hillclimbing, etc.

I have to admit I didn't read the original post properly - no road suspension is suitable for a rally car!

Thanks for the help so far,
The car is for sprints, tarmac rallys and hill climbs, i only want to do everything for fun to begin with and i cannot afford a full blown coilover kit atm because i have to buy all the rest of the stuff for the car..............
I know of the 325i challenge coilover setups for 700 notes but that is too much......

try Leda or see what other 'Group N' stlye options are available as theses will probaly be struts rather than full coilovers... maybe ask others who are competing at these events with E30's what they use, thay cant all be on coilovers as some classes probaly dont allow them? maybe?
but as siad above anything rated for road use would be a false economy... you would end up replacing damers more often
