Engine Looms & ECU's

Went down to my local scrapy this morning and found a 1990 325i Auto with complete engine loom and
0261 200 173 ECU.
Can anyone tell me if there is any differences between the auto and manual looms or the auto/manual ECU's

Will they me a straight forward swap
I'm wanting to upgrade my exsisting loom on Tech 1 2.7

if its a switchable auto then the TPS connections are changed as there are two TPS in one unit, but yes it would all swop over assuming you used the SA TPS too.

you'll need to move some connections from the existing c101 and c104 on the car to get everything working.

Dont forget you need the crank sensor,bracket, and front timing wheel !!

will the 173 auto ecu be ok to use? or will I have to find one out of a manual?

can someone confirm if the 0261 200 173 ECU out of a 325i auto will work in a 325i manual??

Auto ECU will work fine.
