ps...multi layered steel competition head gasket shrick cam and high compression forged pistons etc came from america at the cost of 13 hundred, carbs were just shy of 15 hundred an manifold was 350 special order from mangaletsi, the e28 dizzy cost 100 from fritz bitz, then another 90 to have it overhauled an uprated for comp, the magnacore leads were special order and cost 150quid demon tweaks, ignition system(lumenition) 180quid, alloy kent vernier pulley i think about 90quid peter lloyd, the alpina ex manifold i had for nothing lucky me... add to all this a full set of bearings, gaskets, water pump, cam belt kit, oil pump, fuel pumps/regulator, stainless part mongoose part prospeed exhaust, O and the massive alloy rad 500quid, that i had specially made(peter lloyd rallying) and electric thermo controlled fan (no viscous any more) after spending this sort of dosh there was no compromise on keeping it cool! an thats building it myself Razz i wanted old skool an it came at a cost but it keeps me smiling Very Happy

Hmmmmm...Me like.

I have toyed with the idea of fitting bike carbs to my M20, just to get the noise!
