Sal

Do you fancy doing a test then for free and then maybe you would be interested in selling them!

Unfortunately I will charge you :) It won't be alot! Call it the price of two dyno runs on the typical rolling road day price. £80 is not alot to test your product.

However, I do have a very good idea for you.

I have found that with the BTB manifolds we had alot of raised eyebrows over the gains.

To avoid this for yourselves I would suggest you have the tests done but we will allow someone totally independant of us and yourselves to do the before and after dyno testing. The dyno is simple to operate. Not many dyno places will allow someone else to operate their dyno's.

If your product makes power we would be more than happy to offer it to the public.

We only sold the BTB's because we had evidence before hand that they made good power gains. Bexley Motorworks used to use the early BTB and they always got around 7 bhp out of them consistently so we had no reason to doubt this. The later ones which your more used to seeing were ONLY sold after BTB had an independant test done at WRC Technologies. We also saw similar gains done by customers independantly...........raised eyebrows were still there mind you!

It's not that we don't believe your manifold won't make power but we just need to see some results. If customers do purchase from us and they don't make a reasonable gain then it's alot of hassle for us.

I really think you should take this step and use a well recognised machine like the Dastek or Dyno Dynamics (which are both becoming industry standard now simply because that's what most people have).

Not all systems need an X-Pipe.

I have very little idea about exhaust design but some people from Supersprint and Joe @ BTB did explain that they are used by initial design.

The design of the BTB is totally different to the Automac one, using an X-Pipe on the Automac manifold may actually cause it to perform worse as it was probably designed not to have one.

my mistake there is no crossover pipe with the hottuning one

if there is a dyno run done and there is at least a small gain, i will take one.
also my mate will probly have one.

The Hot Tuning does have a cross over pipe.

I wonder if that will ever get tested!

This manifold will fit onto the existing downpipes if they are cut down as the downpipes reach to the gearbox mount...or there is an option of the Alpina style centre section and then can use any rear box you wish...cheers

I can vouch for the quality of this manifold, It really is made very well and looks the nuts when fitted.

I am actually waiting on a group buy on here, but if you know of a local company that might do them sooner I would be interested to find out a price.
