hi, i'm new to this forum. i'm making an e30 3.5 the engine and box are in and next im doing the engine mounts and wireing it up. can i buy the mounts in the uk? if so how much? i've seen them for sale for £100 but i'm not paying that if they're going to cost over £70 i'll make my own. also any idea were i can get my prop balanced? as this is my 1st rwd conversion

thankyou

reco-prop.com will sort your prop out, but it looks like you're making your own mounts! :)

Hi and welcome! :D

There is lllooooaaads of M30 3.5 / E30 info on here, especially in this section.
It might take some time to read it all! :)

Like ziggy said, you'll be lucky to find the mounting brackets for less than £100. They occasionally come up for sale but it's rare!

Any questions, just ask.

ah, thankyou for the info. i've just finished making my own mounts about an hour ago. typical! although i thought the engine would drop more and the engine sits about 10mm too high at the moment so it touches the bonnet when its closed :-x if i can't get it sorted tomorrow i'll probably have them off you.

thankyou again
