hi guys, not new to BMW's but new to E30's.

Basically looking for a cheaper (mortgage :x ), lighter and more 'fun' car (currently drive an e36 328is).

Have been doing some liht research and the 318is seems to have the most smiles per pounds, but also the most sought after e30.

How much e30 can i get for £1000-1200 nowdays??

Looking forward to driving gods own car!

Welcome

be sure to add your location( as vague as you like) in your profile, it will help you when searching as there may well be local zoners to assist in your quest.

Good luck, within your £Â£Ã‚£, you can pick anything TBH, from a tatty car in need of TLC to an undiscovered minter from the free ads.

thanks for the welcome, the car won't be doing many miles so fuel isn't much of a worry..!

I love 6 cylinder car but for some reason feel the e30 is better with a 4...not sure why though?

The normal 318, is the engine powerful enough to power the car, or do you need an is or 6 cylinder??

no worries...much better balanced without having those two extra cylinders nailed on the front of the car like a dead horse!!

I like fast cars, will that relegate the 318 to an also ran then??
