any RHD M3's are converted away from the factory and in most cases are down on power.
I think it was Birds UK that did the conversions.
The Uk did receive and handful of the cars but were supplied obviously as LHD only
legendary car and owning one I feel more at home with lhd than rhd

Bollocks to this 24v scrap!
BMW didn't produce a RHD version because the rack would have to go through the exhaust manifold and would have cut power from the engine, by having to modify same. The RHD conversions use a 325i rack which is slower than the original rack
Another theory is that they only really required to build 5000 to comply with GPA homologation rules and did not expect the M3 to be so successful as a road going version.
