right people. after having a few issues with my 323 nothing major just lots of small things, ive been thinking about swapping it for a 2.5.

what will i need to put a 2.5 in a pre facelift 323? is there any wiring involved? anyone have a list of bits i will need?

did a search but after spending ten mins to get to page 4 out of 465 i gave up. lol

There is abit of wiring as the 323 had the old c101 conector and not the round one.
Just get the engine and loom/ecu/air flow meter and drop it in.
If you want to sell your 2.3 engine let me know and I will have it off you.

well i will be wanting to sell it when its out. but need to find all the bits to drop 2.5 in mine. so is it just a matter of swapping plugs? are the wires same colour?

Most of the wires are the same colour, there is a wiring dia in the haynes manual.
You only need 2 or 3 wires to get the engine to run.
I am putting in a 325 car loom in mine so I can just plug the engine loom in.
