engine swap info

hi guys was wondering if i was puting 325i into my 318 is it straght forward

you will need the engine loop & Ecu, Gearbox, propshaft, airflow meter, radiator........
if I've missed anything someone will add it on.

you will also need the suspension components as the 1800 stuff in to soft for the heavier 325 engine

so engine loom gearbox suspension etc etc

you'll probably be better off buy a 325 because of the work involved and costs unless you can get hold of a donor car.

Front subframe is fine - there the same through out the range.

You'll need;

Engine - complete
Gearbox - complete
Prop shaft
Ecu
Loom
Afm
Exhaust system - complete
P/s pump + pipe work
51mm front legs - complete
Collant system - complete

And a fair wedge in your pocket to get it all supplied + fitted.

what will i need to fit a pre facelift 325i engine with no PAS to a 316i with PAS? will I need a new PAS pump?
