I know, pretty fucking bad. Gives others a bad name too.
Best place is a quiet industrial estate. even better in winter with ice/snow as you can get used to having the car sideways without going that fast.
how to powerslide?

Best place is on private property with cones to vary corner severity. As mentioned watch the Drift Bible by the Japanese dude. Everything else is speculation.
Hell of a difference between a controlled slide and power out oversteer, which you get upon corner exit. That's for fairies and bellends.

after a few goes you'll find getting the back out is a piece of p1ss, what is more difficult is the transition from slide to grip when you're straightnening up and doing it smoothly. if you want an example of what i mean watch top gear! they couldnt drive their fingers up their fackin noses! they do a big slide in a 600 bhp whatever then fluff up the last bit and the body of the car lurches around! the best bit is when clarkson looks at the camera all smug!!
dont try it in the dry dude, unless you've got plenty of poke and an LSD you'll end up just spinning the inside wheel and looking like a bell end!....or crashing!

how much power have you got? if not a lot you have to be a bit more aggresive. i've got an iS, its on brand new 215/50/15's and sticks like sh1t to a blanket, even in the wet its difficult to get it to even break traction let alone a proper slide so i just dont bother! it was more fun when it was on 4 different makes of bald 14" tyres!

Buy an E34 535i with open diff - lurid wheelspin and tail slides are an everyday norm!

Good control, but the highest speed is maybe 50 kph, the crazy guy above in the 5 series did it at at least 120!
the car park one is fairly cool. still not advised and i wouldnt do it myself but makes for good watching
