took 55 litres to fill it to the BRIM...
thought the tourings should have a 66(ish) litre tank?!!
is this true?

mine had then i needed a new one and gsf gave me a normal tank
which dont take as much as the old one

normally u can run for 40ish miles (urban) (i have had 50+ on a motorway run in my old 320) from the minute the fuel light comes on
may be if you run it for a bit longer b4 you fill up next you may get a more accurate reading, just a thought mate

My owners handbook (1990 model year) says all Tourings (and all convertibles and all 6cyl cars for that matter) have 62ltr tanks.
I once got 55ltr in mine before the light came on (I s'pose the light may not even work - never seen it).

got the big tank on mine, and says 60 ltrs on the dial
