Hi all, how can you check that a MTEC II kit is genuine, with it still being on the car?

check the rear spoiler on drivers side just above the tailights for a sticker saying 'M-Technik', there is also 2 stickers on the side pods but not too sure where
also the front bumper should be 2 separate pieces - top bumper + valance
if they are one piece then its a copy

the parts are marked/ stamped with the BMW logo etc. Replica front ends also are in 1 piece instead of separate bumper & lower front spoiler. Driver front door pod has Mtecnic sticker as does boot spoiler on the lower lip.

on the front valance at the side should be the bmw stamp and a load of wrighting, check all the parts of the kit carefully and you will see the mark of bavaria on every part!!!!( if its genuine
)

i would get the stickers for what they cost.... i bought some when i was going to put a tec 2 kit on mine.
