this is my recently aquired shell, i bought it start of this month, and have spent countless hours prepping it for paint which i can know reveal the first pictures of thanks to my mate pricie and his technical wizardry and he also helped me prep it to be fair. its a 318is, im currently driving 1 so hopefully if i pull my finger out and can convince my mate to help me again i'll put it all together one coming weekend in time for the next lakeside meet. and post more pics before hand.

What ya talking about? the rubbing strips makes it.

It creates the look of one smooth sheet of colour, theres plenty of black detailing on the car without the rubbing strips being black aswell.

See it in the flesh

i keep missing the meets due to various things it begining to get on my tits. but with some luck (and some money) i'll be there. if the paint does start to crack i can always change them but it was what i wanted at the time, i mite do away with them and smooth the sides over?

and i didnt clean the engine whilst it was out cos its in desperate need of a service, and some work, so i'll send to the car valet service down the road once its all finished.

potman what car do you drive? just wondering if i'd seen ya out and about
currently without a BMW 😭

Not really imo, it makes it look like a blob with no definition to its shape.. I will await the finished pics tho :)
