nice one I actually think the four door shape suits the lines of the e30 better than the two and this car illustrates why nicely i love alpina spoilers too they again suit the car perfectly. Good luck with the restoration.

You don't need to take the C2

Some of the guys are running "winter cars" and will be turning up in them

If you can make it, check out the post in the meets section

It looks like it has the proper Alpina boot spoiler which is similar to a tech 1 but bigger. The rear bumper is incorrect, it's a tech 2 one. Needs to be served to a victim and replaced with the correct rear bumper.
Lets hope the lower rear panel and boot wells underneath the tech 2 rear bumper are still present and correct !

boot wells dont seem too bad mate, had the battery out as had to replace it,boot floor is spotless, arches a bit ropey but think its more due to they have been rolled because of the rideheight and cracked the paint, took carpets out today along with the dash, theres a bit of a hole under the bonnet hinge drivers side but no problem to plate neatly, maybe just a bit in the drivers footwell, scuttle needs replaced but apart from that its mainly panels, car seems pretty much structuraly sound

The front spoile is also incorect. The one fitted to the car is a tech2 front valence/spoiler and not the correct face lift front spoiler.

Has it got a sunroof?

before you go too mad with it, get the headlining out and have a very close look around the sunroof tray and look in it for rust. It's a nast spot and seems to be a hidden killer that people are unaware of. Roof skins are NLA so a very important place to check imo

Looks nice matches my black 2 door resto!

right after a fair bit of stripping and thinking have decided just to reshell this car, found a good few holes which are not too much of a poroblem, its just that the shell is very tired and is one of those that is just at the stage that it is going to need constant welding as all the seams are puffy and cant really be arsed as want to keep the car, so want to start with something fresh and solid, have sourced a reasonably mint 4 door shell so going to swap everything over asap, will get some pics up when i pick her up next week hopefully

the alpina is now officially scrapped, chopped into 5 bits, sad day ,not the end but a new beginning though lol, starting a new job this week so now it will be money and no time instead of vice versa, got the loom pretty much sorted now, engine and box are in the auto shell, most of the interior is swapped, next big job is the rear suspension and all the new bushes fitting that i have waiting to go on,bmw dealer seems pretty reasonable thank god,not what i expected at all,got free reign with the styling now though as its no longer a genuine alpina,so looks like a bit of subtle smoothing and a non bmw colour then, some light mods(not lexus i'm not that council lol)tinted windees (windows),going to put the alpina badges and side graphics back on though so it doesnt lose all its flava
need to get some progress pics up but a bit lazy or disorganised on that front though, hoping to have her on the road in the not too distant future, funds allowing cheers guys
