Some places can still use it,you just need to be approved/licensed. Good job too as water base is crap!

Then you will be pleased to know when I worked at a BMW approved bodyshop BMW themselves demanded all BMW's must be painted with water based.

Tell me about it,I have to use it everyday. Mercedes are just as bad only they insist you use lacquer that costs nearly £200/gallon Goes on nice though

doesnt water based cost about 3 times as much too?

My computer tells me how much each mix costs when I do it,a litre usually works out at about £100 retail,so thats about 4 times as much!!! Plus you use more of it in the process as it doesn't cover as well
