Where to find an S38B38 engine??

Any ideas as to where I could get the S38B38 engine and box and what sort of cost? The budget we have is around £2500.

Hmmm, I don't think you will be far off with that budget.

What about trying out one of the BMW Brakers around UK and maybe take a short look on the web and see if you can find a engine in Germany? Or in worst case, look on eBay and find a M5 with out MOT and Tax and take it down to parts.....

Try fritzs bits (did i spell that right ?) theyve got pretty much every bm part known to man from what i gather
