PLEASE READ!!!! The guy selling the scorpion exhaust was called dennis, i had rang him last monday and asked when would it be fine to come and collect it, he replied saying friday after 4, he wanted £40 for the exhaust, he sounded like a nice guy so i asked him if he needed anything else for his e30 and he said yes he needed a spare BBS wheel and headlight eyebrows and i would of gave him some cash on top, everything was fine i left today to go and pick the exhaust up at around 1:00pm and got there around 05:00pm knocked on his door and he goes i just sold it for 80quid (GREED) i go should of atleast let me no i came nearly 400 miles away there and back, and he goes he sent me a text (bolllocks) he bought his phone out to show me the message was not in the sent items so he goes i must of sent it to the wrong person, he did not even apologise, ALL I WANT TO SAY IS THERE IS NO POINT OF BUYING OR SELLING FROM THIS GUY BECAUSE HE IS A SCAM ARTIST AND LIKES TO WASTE PEOPLES TIME AND FUEL, A DISCRACE TO THE E30 COMMUNITY AND SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THE SITE AND GET HIS CAR CRUSHED HE DESERVES A BIKE, and get his license taken away

I called the number in that advert about a week or two ago and arranged for a mate of mine that lives about 5 miles from where the seller is to go and look at it for me. My mate spoke to him and arranged to meet and this geezer didn't turn-up and didn't have the common courtesy to call him or me with an explanation He called him afterwards as did i and no fecker would answer the phone!=

Why didn't you call him and confirm he got your text?
I would have called just to be on the safe side especialy with the distance involved!
As it turns-out he deserved it but you are still in the wrong relying on a text message and breaking an agreement

Regardless of who you sold it to and the price you got you were out of order and your attitude on this thread should complete the 'don't buy from this person' message.

also in agreement with this.bit of bad comunication all around i think but you cant really blame a guy for trying to make as much as he can from the sale of his parts unless its a previously arranged signed and sealed done deal thats been shaken on.

Well i spoke to den at the kent meet last night and thought he was a nice guy , Seems like there was a misunderstanding regarding the backbox and he regrets it as he is new to the zone and does not wanna getoff on the wrong foot .
He had text kami to say the backbox was no longer available , No doubt he has this text on his phone still but text the number that rang him about the backbox .
Correct me if im wrong den and nice to put a name to a face , Think there are 2 sides to every story and think this one has been blown out of proportion tbh

Think this is a case of misunderstandings as above.... met Den today and a very nice bloke who doesn't deserve all the ripping he's had. Let's just leave it at that and hope we can welcome Den to other meets in the future. We all make mistakes!
p.s. his E30 is better than mine so I'm a little jealous too!!!
