How do you tell whther or not you are looking a Original Alpine rims without taking the whole wheel off the car? what confuses me is that I've seen two types, ones with capped alpine centres and ones with lockable ones? help please??

Genuine e30 alpina alloys only came in 16" and where an option to have as either 7j all round or 7j at the front and 8j at the rear. the way most people reconize genuine alpina alloys is by the centre caps as genuine alpina alloys have locking centre caps unline the replicas which have clip on centre caps.

As 20 spoke design is patented by Alpina, all replicas got 19 spokes. So the spokes are not exactly across.

all originals will also have alpina stamped on the inside of the centre cap and the centre hub and will always be 20 spoke.
