I have many times thought about getting my self an RR Classic and the reason is that I live in the Swedish forest where I can face 30 cm of snow in the mornings and there is a lot of roads around with no asphalt so a off roader would soute me better than the E32 who can be a bit risky during the winter.
My dad have a P38 DSE and he loves it a lot!

My folks had a '96 DSE then a '02 DHSE both auto averaged 22mpg over 120k miles. 27 towing is AMAZING!!!Chris-W wrote:Not true - I get circa 27 with a car on the back.Andyboy wrote:The only time you'll see 20 mpg from a Strange Rover 2.5d is from the AA lorry it's strapped to.

Wow! You are all certainly Range Rover haters!
Ive got an '01 DHSE with a Jeremy Fearn Re-map.....I use it everyday for my business and I usually can achieve an average of 35mpg.....certainly it costs a lot to maintain but if compared the costs of servicing a similar £50k car its not that different!
