anyone done an e30 330d any idea on how hard it would be to do the 330d conversion on an e30

yea think it will be a great conversion and would have bundles of torque if it was remapped

Done in Poland around two years ago. The car got now M54B3.0 engine. The owner of this car is registered on e30tech.

Ant knows his stuff on this, he said that the sump needs altering to fit into an E30, and it alters the weight balance a lot. Also the electronics are pretty complex.
He recommended the 320d engine - said it would give better weight balance, and could get 200bhp out of it, with bundles of torque and great fuel economy.
(Must admit I'm still keen on the 330d engine though)
