Weve got the head back from the enginerrs and assembled it . Put on the decomp plate and arp studs. Manifolds on and got her started.

Waiting for the internal wastegate to arrive. Already have the oil feed and picked up the oil return this morning. Then the turbo goes on.

Should be ordering the ms next week. winkeye

Incidently what inch V band are you using for the downpipe?
Do you have any pics of how the downpipe leaves the turbo and passes past the steering rack?

Also what oil return are you using?

Cant wait to get her up and running
Imageselling more bunnies to pay for my conversion

i know the feeling mate, got loads to do to mine yet before it properly finished. this is just a trial engine, im having a new low comp one built.
mine is a 2.5 inch v-band tapering up to 3" downpipe then under the car it goes back down to 2.5".
it was a right barsterd gettin it past the linkage but its done now so its all good...

well with this engine only a few more bits an bobs, stiffer valve springs from ppf, adjustible cam pully, samco rad hoses, alloy rad and header tank, new clutch, diff, all new bushes and h&r anti roll bars and and loads of fiddly bits.
i think this year im gonna see how far i can push my stock bottom end on stock comp. 400hp is a good goal at 1bar maybe a tad more...
then afer i kill this engine at the pod thats when the fun begins, shes comin off the road foe my new low comp bottom end, 324tds gearbox, e30 m3 prop, e36 m3 diff welded in place, tougher drive shafts, and maybe autronic sm4. and then i should easily be able to run 450whp - 500whp daily..... cant wait....
also got bubbles of rust comin up on the rear aches too. so il have to replace them too.....
money pit? already spent 5k and by the time its finished all what i want done it will prob stand in closer to 15k
give it a couple of years though..
