oh dear....

"why do you suppose he did the swap?"
1. He lives in japan, where they put a fatty tax on your **** if your engine is over 2 liters.
2. He has no clue how to tune a german engine so he compensates for his lack of any motor-building talent by becoming just like those assholes in America who say "That car could be fast... if you put a V8 into it!" Variable valve technology isn't everything.
3. Pull your head out of your ass.

I like the way the Bonnet is spaced up to miss the engine, Class.

Why go to all that effort,? !

apparently he turbo'd the original 1.8 engine but it was too unreliable so he just fitted a better engine.

why fit a cossie engine in an e30? why go to all the effort of fitting any engine BMW or not, why not just buy a car with the engine you want? Because you can if you want.

Not exactly. He fited Nissan 1.8 turbo engine first and than changed it to Honda S2000.
Not that I understand japanese, there is picture of that engine in this reportage and it is defenately not a BMW engine!

Testement to BMW the chassis looks really smooth and ride seemed to be quite comfortable even with that engine. I would like an engine that revs off the limiter too!

gotta admit ... the sound of a V-tech under presure is sweet music winkeye when ever i hear a V-tech Honda screaming along i alway's wait for the BIG BANG ... never seams to happen though
wonder how that E36 would go against a E36-M3, i think it would be quicker than a M3 but not as fast top end?

The S2000 is my all time favorite motor! But they are a little under powered, the M3 would kill it top end and on a less twisty road but if u need a car with perfect handling thats it. Buy it, Strip it, Race it up and supercharge it. Ive seen a 400BHP version race an RX7 on youtube proper race car!
