Recently fitted the head and used this stuff its called "Wellseal" used in the engine remanufacturing trade also by Rolls Royce so i believe, any way it certainly works not a sign of oil anywhere from the head, great stuff, Dave Image

Is that the blue stuff?

I used it when I did the head gasket on the tractor, sealed the head well enough for about 10 years, now there's oil and water leaking out. Although the head was never retorqued after run-in, so that could be a contributory factor, but still. The head is leaking furiously.

Direct injection, turboed, intercooled, 16 valves giving a whopping 48.5hp/litre!! :(
