hood shelf not locking down

is there any way that i can make the shelf lock down as i think the motor is broke and cant aford new one at the mo. is there any way that i could make it lock down how the manual one does (not sure how it works) pls help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you lok at previous threads you will see all sorts of solutions...if your hood motor works you can buy a 2nd hand flap motor for about Ԛ£50

rather than do permanent repair you can lock it down with the allen key...look under the trim in the boot and the diagram on realoem
