I just dont like the idea of the fuel filler on the bodywork..

If you think of it as an investment....you will have saved more than the money you've spent on the conversion in about a year (maybe 2 at the most), so it's well worth starting to put some money aside for!

If, as i suspect there will be a monster engine going in youe 18-bolter, then the rate at which you save cash will be el rapido (cos the engine drinks more
have a look at those links, and ask touringdaddy/brainmooooore any questions you may have..
as for the filler on the body, you can get it mounted into the bumper so its fairly hidden, plus its not too much to put up with given the savings concerned IMO
