I was going to arrange a pub meet. I need to speak to the volunteer pub to see if we can just turn up for bar food or if I need to book a table? I reckon a turn up and order would be a better bet than a booked table. More informal and people ain't bound over to have a meal or turn up on time. Those that want to eat can, those that don't etc.....
Barry, If you can change the title of this to "Pub Meet Guildford Jan 9th????" in order that we can see the numbers interested, I'll get my arse in gear and make a couple of calls.
Thats if everyones happy with that arrangement?

Not had a chance to ring the pub yet. I'll ring them tomorrow.
Have to admit, 5 or 6 of us, it may be worth just sticking with a BK?
I'm happy to go with the flow but whats everyones opinion? Go with this or stick with BK?

BK would be the easyer option and we will probably get more people but on the other hand, would make a nice change to do a pub meet.
Whats everyone else saying?

F*ck, thats a really good point! Happy new year to you guys as well. Trust you had a blinder?oguz327 wrote:Happy New Year everyone by the way
Guy's spoke to a mate from Westcott last night and it turns out that now it's more of a booking's style of place. As per Barry, I'm not up for a sit down meal so this month lets hit the burgers and while we are down there discuss possible alternatives for Feb.
I'll start a new thread with the usual suspects on to draw more attention.
No more additions required here me thinks?
