Guys
IM after some advice, My merc ha a supercharger on it and it is a smooth power driver, however my birds vxr has a turbo and i love th epower repsonce from it.
I was talking to folwer and he said go supercharger on a e30, but i do like the ide of a turbo cab, going down the round and dumping a supercharger cant dump can it??
which would be best for power responce etc for the e30??
thanks
Neil

Best of both worlds....instant response plus a nice whooshy sound when you change gear

if its a cab i would super charge as its bottom end power which would be great for a cab but you cant get a dump valve for a supercharger and dont mess about with electric fake dump valves, pure chav.
if its a saloon i would go turbo for top end power!!!!! they give good torque but i would be after top end with a turbo.
racer i would say turbo
cab would be supercharger for a massive low down toque curve
thats what i would go for anyway.

Charger, in chrome of course
cheaper, more compact and still capable of the wrong side of 300 hp and 300 lbs/ft.
the rotrex are not P-D chargers so there's almost no boost until the compressor goes efficient and then BAM off you go ( thats about 2K before the engine comes out of vacuum and 3.5K when you really get the kick up the arse BTW )
splits the difference between the Turbo delivery and what your kompressor delivers dude.
as for dump valve, of course you can still run one, remember racecars ride and the sci-fi soundtrack from his engine bay

the body is polished Billet , the front half is supplied in sand cast finish but can be removed for a shine up if required Neil.
