Been given a box of hoses from an old boy who has cleaned his garage out. Trouble is he can,t remember what they came off.

Can't really help, although the ones in the 3rd pic down look vaguely familliar as the rad and up-and-over the top front of the engine hoses on an M20, probably completely wrong though.
Even if you can't use them, a complete set of hoses and clips from the dealer (for an M20 this is) only costs about £70.

Genuine BMW hose usually have the full part number on them, which can be then fed into the ETK to find their applications.

That hose in the bottom photo looks like the E34 535 top rad hose on my conversion.....

Does look similar charlE30, thanks for that. Brian there are numbers on some of them at least but very hard to read( at the moment). Will give them a good clean tomorrow and try again. Thanks all.

Well looks like ive had a result with at least one of these hoses. Hose in the second pic has 1711002 on it which turns out to be a radiator return hose from a E34 535i. Last hose in pic has 1722682 on it , not able to find any corresponding info on ETK but it looks exactly the same as the E34 top rad hose so might be a big bonus.
