there was once upon a time a guy near me that had an e30 pick up apparently it was a genuine bmw conversion was up for sale about 15 years ago my uncle thought about buying it but the guy wanted silly money for it

the car i showed in the photo link was a demonstrator and would have been for the north american market, but never made it in to any form of production

you do hear a lot of BS form people who sell cars, it does keep entertained at times
