x reg 535

Hi I have the chance to buy a x reg 535 it is in very good condition the owner just wants rid of it, is this a good source for engine conversion, if so what bits do I need off it, also can I use susp/struts to do a 5 stud conversion, looking to put this into a 325 e30 but if there is a better option will wait and source correct engine. thanks

you cant use the suspension for the e30 really ,engine wise you would be better using something newer or even a m50 325 from the e36

I assume the turd we are talking about is an E12 ? If it's not rotten it has a value and would be a waste of a good car . Drive it and you will weigh your sad cab ! . Factory bilsteins, LSD , dogleg and 218bhp in a dangerous turd that weighs not much more than your cab. A true hero chariot.
