Can i bypass them? i think there is only 2? wee could only find 2 one on back and one on the front.
This light is really annoying me, can i bypass it? i know i could go and buy some new sensors and some pads that they will fit to..... but i think its a bit of a stupid function unless you are brain dead and dont check your breaks!
So how do i go about it!

I'm just going to short out the open end of the wires and hope it doesn't catch fire

Put a pin in it and short it out.
Oh and keep it in. Tape it up or something.

I think a resistor would work best but that means working out the correct one and still getting the wheels off, and thats just not as simple as taking the bulb out

The sensors are a simple loop of wire, embedded in a plastic block. Easiest thing to do, if your pads won't take the sensors, is to plug sensors into the sockets and cable tie them out of the way.

if u wanted the light to go out, but loose the function of the sensor, then simply cut the sensor wires from a reasonably close point to the connector and fix them together.
then make sure u seal the join v. well and the curcuit should be complete again

MOT man will not be interested in your pad wear light one way or the other.

ABS, brake fluid level, main beam and fog light ones are,(or at least are legal requirements), but none of the others
