Whats up guys. I'm on the other side of the pond, where we don't get any decent diesel engines. Anyways, I want to import a M57 and drop it in my e30 (1985 318). This is being made harder by the worthless US dollar. Anyways, if anyone can help me with an engine please contact me directly at ggoodlin@gmu.edu Also if anyone else has done this please email me directly with the story. Other wise I have lots of questions. Are there any clutches that will bolt up and work well from BMW gas cars? I no that this is a long shot but anything that I don't have to import is extremely helpful. If anyone here has done it, how did you do the fuel tank? Custom, or try and put something else on there, I know the way the e30 pan fits it'll be extremely hard. With the same engine mounts that the S50/52 guys use work for the M57? Basically any information you guys can give me on this would really help. I can't speak Polish or German and I'm having a tough time finding information on it in English. Best regards, George

Hello George,
The best way is to look for ebay.co.uk and also take contact with some BMW brakers in the UK (because of the language) I know that more and more companys in Germany also starts to understand that they need to use English to get customer outside the border, so maybe look for a German BMW braker as well....
I know there is a huge car breaker in Denmark who is known all over the Nordic countrys because of good service but I dont know if they speak any English but if you want, I can look for their address and send it to you?

Good luck with the project by the way! :-)
