Not really heavy bass, but my touring has been done up as a multimedia centre on wheels.

Current spec:-

- Head-unit:- 7" Motorised Touchscreen DVD Player (DivX compatible)
- Front Speakers:- Pioneer Components + Tweeters
- Rear Speakers:- Kenwood 6x9's + Tweeters
- Subs:- 2 x 15" Vibe BlackAir (350W rms each)
- Amplifier:- Loudest.com 1500W rms amp :o:
- 1 farad Power cap (used mainly to monitor voltage on digital display)

- Reversing camera
- Digital TV Receiver (with amplified aerial 20db) + Terrestrial TV aswell.
- 2 x 7" Rear Head-rest monitors

Need to still use the boot hence the subs facing the seats so they don't get damaged when the boot is being used.

There is scope to add my other 2 15" subs in there aswell.

Should be sweet. Get some pics up when you're done.

I have kids in the car so i'm not really interested in heavy bass...i did that a few years ago when i had 4 15" subs in a small sunny hatch-back. Seriously kicked, but never got round to testing it.

No doubt the touring is a great base car for an install, very easy to remove trim and then put together again without anything rattling or falling off.

what frequency is your box tuned to? i find that quite an achievment as i had a 15" L7 in a 6.5 cubic ft box ( excluding port displacement ) in my mk2 golf tuned to 28hrtz and i touched 139.9dB

Heres a couple of pics of the one i built a couple of years back, it was only a 250w audiobahn dual coil and 4x150w pioneer 6x9s but it pumped pretty well before some smackhead ba***rd stole it, ill be building a new one next year with a couple of vibes or kenwoods and some components

Yeah took me 3 months in cold weather, fibreglass took up to 12hours to dry and it was built in 3 removeable pods connected with professionl gold plated pa jacks, took 10mins to remove the whole system and i designed it so i could fold the rear seats down and slide the bass/amp pod forward to access the spare, also the complete boot underneath was original, ie carpets, storage lids etc
