My bro will be keeping the car for some time (he wants to keep the car for good) so anything spent is money well spent.

Does look stunning. Will look better by next summer with the hood-down and the kit and horse-shoe colour coded.

I normally don't impose my opinion on peoples car builds but I'd advise against adjusting the horse shoe. I think it looks great in the leather colour. It's part of the interior, not the exterior. Colour coding it looks very council.

no, what i meant was the horseshoe is currently white (the bit that is painted) as it came of JAMZ white cab. When i say colour coded i mean spraying the white bit blue. The leather isn't going to be getting removed.

Sorry mate, I understand now!!

Is it not a case of switching the cover from the existing horse shoe for the leather one??

Plan was to keep the one in the pic above for summer, and then in winter when the hood isn't dropped as much, and there is more chance of wet weather to put the current black one back one, this way the cream leather won't get ruined over winter. :D

His fronts are in my touring at the moment.

Not selling any parts off it though.

We're keeping everything we've changed, so it can be restored back to original if need be.

All interior/exterior/suspension bits are in storage.

On a different topic, the cabby should be getting some smoked front lights by next week, and should be getting the hardtop on there for some pics aswell.

Well, the Borbet's are gone in a swap deal with 666JAG (top lad :thumb: hope your luck changes with the car :D ) and replaced by 16" RH Toplines with diamond cut centres.

I'm not sure what i make of them yet.

They do seem too small with the 205/45/R16 tyres...perhaps some lower profile tyres would look better.

That said the with the Borbets only 2 people could sit in the car, so atleast the car can be a proper 4 seater now.

Pics uploading now.

I always wanted the A's for my car, but having seen them on the touring compared to my T's, i preferred the T's.
And i don't like running spacers, so they wouldn't have been going on mine.

It just wasn't practical for my bro to keep the borbets as he could only use it as a 2 seater.

He's only actually had the borbets on the car (when it was in use) for about 2-3 months. He's had bbs's on for quite a while now, so they're definitely an improvement on those (the bbs's need a refurb).

Who knows, they may look better once the tech 2 kit is fitted.

Unfortunately not. Both Tech 2 kits (mine and my brothers) are still waiting to be sprayed. I've been busy with my new job, and my brother doesn't really do anything on his car, so until I sort it for him it'll stay as it is.

He's still got his hardtop that he wants colour coding aswell, so with teh tech 2 kit and the hardtop it should be looking awesome, but until i do anything myself it doesn't look like any progress will be made. :(

Morning Ace. Just picked up on this thread. I went to have a look at one of these last year same colour and spec. The purpose was to get it back to concours. I looked at the cost and It just didn't warrant it. It was in need of a major respray - every panel was marked. The interior was in a poor state too inc the engine. I decided to leave it.

Yours looks great though. Loving the colour too.
Best of luck with car. :D

Unfortunately it's no longer. Someone pulled out on my brother and wrote it off (they accepted fault straight away).

I'll be listing all the spares and other parts that we've gathered once the for sale section is open again as we have quite a few bits and bobs gathered up as we kept the original for every part we changed on it in case we wanted to return it back to stock one day.

Seems like all the e30's are going as my touring will be for sale soon aswell and just the 4door will be left.
