you would be better off using jetseal 109 [chemical guys].
or collinite wax. supaguard is,nt as super as it leads you to believe

Supaguard, Autoglym lifeshine, Diamond brite etc are all the same sort of thing. Basically a paint sealant that "lasts up to 5 years" blah blah blah.

The dealer applies the sealant and you get a bottle of conserver which you add to your wash solution, This tops up the protection. So the original application does not last 5 years on it's own!

I'd agree with e30den, A good quality sealant (Jetseal is reasonably priced at around £20 iirc) or durable wax would be where my money would and does go.

My daily driver is wearing a layer of collinite 476s that I applied when it was delivered in september, The surface wasn't properly prepared really but it is still protecting the paint well. I am planning to detail it soon and get a couple of coats of 476s on to last until summer.

Can be used at any time really, But is primarily applied to new cars as it is pushed in the sales patter.

The actual cost of the kit isn't that expensive as far as I am aware, Yet the dealers generally charge £350 for this miracle treatment.

I'd class it alongside snake oils etc.

i used to have to apply supaguard kits at work and i dont think its really any different to using polish. and for your money you get a carpet treatment and window etching. not worth the money i dont fink

I worked for the dealers before & IIRC Superguard / Daimond Brite or wotever they call it cost them around £27,
and charged customers around £295.

I got my BM done at cost.

Havent polished/ waxed it for over 6 months & still looks great
