I have a 1990 318i that I'm going to race, its done 120k so I'd like to refresh most of the suspension components.
Currently in the post are a complete set of poly bushes and the bits for a rear disc conversion but as the same time I want to replace all the bearings, ball joints, nuts bolts etc etc....
Dampers will be coil overs if that makes any difference.
if you can give me a list of what you think I need and the prices we can take it from their.
Thanks,
Richard
Complete suspension refresh....

Will it be a full race car or just track day car?
And how much do you want to spend?
As you can have fully adjustable to little adjustment.

Its a race car but will be road legal. Suspension needs to be single unit, i.e. no remote's
I'm thinking GAZ or H&R coil overs at the moment.
That said the dampers arnt the 1st thing, I'd rather get the other bits sorted 1st.

You can go solid rear end, diff bush and subframe bushes.
Then you can get get adjustable rear trailing arm bushes.
Then front wishbone bushes, preferably M3, you can go solid. M3 gives more castor.
Front adjustable top mounts.
I'll do some research and get prices for you.

I can only go for components that were stock on 318i or 320i so the plan is to just refresh what is there.
Bushes are free, dampers are free as long as they are self contained single units.
details of 2007 reg's can be found here, 2008 regs are very similar.

because they are mentioned specifically as ok in the regs, if its not mentioned then the assumption should be the default BMW part.
