hi i posted a week ago about overheating problems since i put my head back 2gether. well after changing the thurmo, pump and checking that the rad is fine and trying to bleed it for the last 4 hours. i think i hav found the problem. i put a rolled up newspaper in the viscous fan and it jus stopped it instead of tearing the fan.

i am pretty certain this is the reason for the overheating, cause it happens in standstill and if moving slowly. What do i do now just take the fan off from the bolt and replace it as i hav heard the coupling may be messed up as it is made off wax or something.

any input will be much appreciated

yeah the fan could be gubbed!

its a Left handed thread (as opposed to 'normal') so you need to go to the right to loosen it

The nut size is 22mm if i remember correctly

I have a spare fan available if you need it...gimme a PM
