i thought that, i sold mine for a mr2 turbo, yes its a hell of alot faster than the 325i but for driving i missed my 325i so much i bought another only 2 months after getting rid of it.

Keep your bm and save then buy the 205 or your going to regret selling your bm............trust me

i love 205's and they're mega to drive but i reckon living with one would get on your t!ts after while, you rarely see a nice one for sale they're mainly thrashed, 140 BHP in a well handling little package though?!?! my old man was into cozzy's back in the day, had a porsche 968 club sport blah blah and now drives a merc C43 AMG but still maintains that the 205 is the best fun car you can have, he's always on the lookout for a nice one. mid life crisis i think!!

i've only ever driven a 1.6 GTI with a slipping clutch but even so i can see what the fuss is about, they drive like a rear wheel drive if you know what your doing dont they? bl00dy mega things.

Ive done this both ways round!!, sold a E30 to get a 205 and then sold the 205 to get a E30!
I love them both, if you can afford to I would say keep the E30 and save for a 205,
wish I could afford to :D I keep switching between the 2 :D
Ive had 9 x 205 Gti's and 5 x E30's now!
One day I will stop, when I get my E30 M3 and 205 Gti with a Mi-16 lump :D

I had a 205 1.6 gti with a 1.9 lump in it still on that 1.6 box chipped up etc etc went like sh*t good fun car was the best b road car. small twisty lanes could not be touched by anything in my area winkeye

now have the 325 cab and drive slow as want people to see it

just a sign of getting old so i would say go for it mate you can always come back later :D

Trust me, get a 205 mi16. Its an addictive little revvy fcuker. How a proper engine should be.

If I had to drive it everyday it would drive me totally nuts. The road noise is totally ridiculous and its not even stripped out. 8O

As a second car its a good hoot, but if you like a good interior and a comfy ride a 205 will not float your boat.
