I have tweeters to install and cannot find anywhere to put them.

Where has everyone put theirs?

They are the ones which will sink into the surface rather than sit on top.

Pictures would be cool.

Not all tweeters suit the same location.

Make sure that you have plenty of wire on them, get some blu-tac and experiment with different locations - footwell firing upwards, on mirror backings, and at different heights on the a pillar. Try one location for a few days, then change them and see how it affects the sound stage.

It can make a huge difference to the overall sound of the system. When you've found the best location, you can then worry about how to fix them there.

Cheers for the advice/info,

I couldnt really find a decent spot to put them so I put them in the cover of the footwell speaker area.

So I have my mids in the doors and sub/amp in the back, the sub will blast through the ski hatch as I have the armrest in rear seat down.

Will the tweeters be ok for sound?, down in the footwells?

Im just worried they wont be easily heard as they are at the lowest point in the car compared to the other speakers/sub.

Put them where they sound best - simple as. A good rule of thumb is that you should at least have a direct line of sight to them. Fitting them low down doesn't mean that they won't sound good - it may pull the sound stage down though. The theorectical best position is as close to the mids as possible, but this usually does mean down low.

Fire them towards the opposite side front headrest.
