Hi guys. This week started bad but just got about as bad as it can get. My beloved 3 series is now heading for the scrap yard. I came home from helping a friend with a broken down car two days ago to find my 3 series stolen (well more moved as far as they could push it cos they couldnt start it). The then proceeded over night while there was nothing I could do to smash all my windows, spray paint the car and now removed the wheels.

I dont know what to do other than scream. I cant believe this has happened and I informed to police and they have done NOTHING about it! I'm now just sat in front of my computer and i dont have a clue what to do. I feel sick to the stomach that someone could do that to such a gorgeous car. The only thing I can think about doing is hunting for the B*RST*RDS that did this and taking my baseball bat with me, anyone fancy some chav bashing to help me feel better?

If anyone wants anything off the car I think the time is NOW cos i am going to have to have her trailered soon and please do take things, it would be a shame to see whats left wasted.

Off to do something to keep my mind off it now so thanks for reading :(

Im so sorry to hear that fella, ill come chav bashing with ya! :x ,but we'd probably go to jail and they'd get sent on holiday to Ayia napa or somewhere for the trauma!

Im getting pretty sick of the usual its not mine so im going to nick/destroy it attitude in this country.

My mates request of a reference to emmigrate to melbourne gets more appealing every day!

Im not trying to defend the police but i know from a mate that senior officers are so frightened about legal action from these little twats that all officers are told to be so careful about questioning etc,my mate says the its such a compension culture now that laws arent to protect the good, law abiding citizens anymore, they protect the criminals......he seriously considering his future in the police force...he used to love his job.

Hope something gets sorted out soon mate, what E30 was it mate?

hey guys. It was an A reg 320 - probably one of the oldest cars on the zone. and i just found the zone sticker on the floor with shards of glass still stuck to it... its a sad day.

This is very true, the police are always walking on egg shells with these b*rst*rds. Anyway a mate of mine has offered to help me tow it with the wheels from my 1602 so hopefully she is safe from being torched which is no doubt the next step to happen tonight. If anyone wants to come bashing chavvies, I am in Loughborough... happy hunting!!!

I also heard from some local kids that the two lads who did this (OVER NIGHT) are both on tags.. HOW in the fuck is this allowed to happen! Anyway, must dash. thanks for all the support, im going to need it this week.

lets see pics of the damage..maybe we an save it between us - i have no doubt that sum1 would take it...even if its just to save another e30. In a scrap yard they get mangled! The Zone saves cars, so it does! 1 scrapped e30 lives on in 4 or 5 other e30's... some concollation....?maybe not, but if i was local, id bring a trailer round and go chavvie-bashing! Shove some Tags up some arses!!!!!!! :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

Yep. Jon is/was gonna put a 3.5 in it...

Jon, get it up to the car club & away from those ****s ASAP. Like I said, Neil (Nelly) has a full set of glass, & some more bottletops won't be a problem either. Matt or someone will lend a hand spraying it if what they've done won't come off. Call me!

hey zig, just got back from the motor club. Me andy bower and Andy knight put the wheels on it from my 1602 and towed her home so she is safe and sound now at least. car park 7 is open most of the day time if you wanna go see what they did... they even managed to break the steering lock - would love to know how they did that!!!

I think she might be salvagable but something has happened to the altenator, I think they were trying to work out why it wouldnt start and when we plugged in a battery it set on fire :S - never a good thing! The car does still start and run thou. the only body damage is the boot panel is bent to hell, the spray paint on the bonnet and where they jacked her up they dented the sils. Then she needs the new windows and a full new set of locks (which I have already).

I just seen the lot that the corner shop man thinks did it standing at the end of my road... that loiuseville slugger (baseball bat) is looking OH so tempting right now...! I have pictures of the car which I can post up if i knew how! Will send on to ziggy as he is able to do it.

If she is repairable then I think the 3.5 plan will still go ahead cos its still a good shell. I am just so upset that this E30 of all is wrecked, such a nice early model.

Anyway, I am off to work at Halfords now... fun fun fun. im going to sit and contemplate what to do while at work I think.

I know this is probably the last thing u want to hear - but You should get a loud clifford alarm and full stearing disc lock on every car u own - it's the only way of stopping this shit happening to ya -

Mate, it's still saveable.

Altenator - who cares; it's getting a 3.5 so you'll get it with the donor.
(my bet's that the morons thought it was jammed, so sprayed wd40 at it or something...)

Bonnet - could have done with a respray anyway if we're honest; just get Matt to do it in matt black!

Boot - annoying but not difficult to come by; anyone on here who's got a breaker'll have one & you'll probably find one without the spoiler holes too. Matt black being the order of the day here too, til you can afford a respray for the whole car, which it'd have needed anyway!

Wheels - everyone's got a set of bottletops clogging up their garage - who wants to volunteer em first?!

Sills - needed welding anyway so sort em out at the same time.

Locks - no problem.

Glass - send a pm to "Nelly" ( http://www.e30zone.co.uk/modules.php?na ... pic&t=8917 )

If you find the little c**ts this evening, bring em up to the PEC - I'll be teaching grading stuff tonight I expect & we could all do with a little light relief... :x

Sorry to see it, looked like a minter and all.

The wee buggers can't see anything that they can't wreck it.

If I ran the country it'd be like China - you'd need to have a licence to have a kid, and you only get that if you can prove you're up to looking after the wee bugger.

Dam little f*ckers, had it happen to me too many times in the past.

Ziggy put me on to you to see if i could help you out, and i can - i've got as mentioned a full set of glass with rear openers and all the rubber sills as well as the sill inserts, also got some 15" bbs cross spokes coming soon.

When you say you've got a full lock set - have you got an ignition barrell in it's housing? If you have then this will also house another steering lock.Hope that helps ya out a bit?

Where abouts are you Jon? If your far from me i'm sure between us all on the Zone we could sort out some sort of relay system to get the bits to you??

Glad to hear another is saved from the scrappys as well - dunnit break your heart to see em on the racks.

Neil.

hey guys, that sounds great :) I cant thank you guys all enough for the help. The lock set i have does include the lock barrel and the terring assembly so thats no problem. deffo want the glass etc nelly. So this is ONE bit of my life looking up...

My day got worse however. If you have read any of my other posts U might know I also own an M535i. Just on my way to work after making those posts before on this tread to just get away from it all. on the way a truck managed to reverse into my passenger side wing pushing it right through the inner wing.... WHY, CANT A DAY GET ANY WORSE. I think every ounce of luck i ever owned left me when i spun the 7 series on the motorway a few months back, since then everything has gone wrong that can... OH, and to top it all off, the little scally B*RST*RDS stole my letter box cover as well!

I hope if nothing else the endless bad luck I get is amusing as it does read like a comedy sketch, thats certainly how I am going to try and look at it, as if I dont I think I might actually suffer a nurveous breakdown at this rate.

fab - thanks for the offers! I will deffo take the boot and the glass all round. well just readin the thread has made me feel so much better and i am looking forward to tomorrow to start sorting her out as i have decided to deffo go ahead with the rebuild. The car deserves it, it has TOO much character to be let go, and as for the smoking altenator problem, I have solved that. I ave decicded to break my M535 due to the accident this afternoon.. and whats that, i might have a spare M30 3.5... WOOOOT. I find it strange that I am more attached to that little three than my M535i. Oh and I found my E30 zone old school cool sticker in the glass on the back seats - the best bit on the car at the moment and they didnt nick it - yey! :D
