portsmouth Monsport Memorial Meet 22 June 08

This meet is in memory of Malcolm, known on here as Monsport. He sadly died of Cancer last year. He was much liked and respected as one of the first guys on the Zone.

We are holding a meet in his memory, all proceeds going to charity.

The meet was originally going to be at Porchester Castle, in Portsmouth, as this was a place close to Malc's heart. Unfortunately, the trust in charge of the Castle won't let us use it.

Therefore, we are going to hold the meet at Fort Purbrook, which is about a mile from the burger van on Portsdown Hill, in the direction of Chichester.
It will be on the 22nd June from 10am to 3.30, anyone wishing to stay later can go to the Churchillian Pub, opposite the burger van.

We are charging £5 per car, and offering a free barbecue. Malcolm's widow Sheila will be donating the proceeds to ROWANS HOSPICE which is where Malc was treated.
